File extensions:
*.sob = Sound banks *.sab = Sample banks *.cpf = Preview files
I have also made some naming conventions myself:
Everything that starts with "mu" = music streams Everything that starts with "am" = ambience streams Everything that starts with "vo" = vocals (speech banks)
The theory is that nobody but me should have to even think about the sample banks (other than maybe to ensure that they are loaded), so this document will discuss the content of sound banks only.
The sound build currently contains the following sound banks and contents:
